Every page of every Sprinkles story gets its own unique, AI-generated illustration. These aren't stock images or generic clip art — each illustration is created specifically for the scene on that page.

• A character style guide is prepended to every image prompt, ensuring characters look consistent from the first page to the last.

Sprinkles gives you three different ways to describe your story idea, and you can combine any of them:

Sprinkles automatically detects the language of your prompt and generates the entire story in that language. There's no language selector or setting to configure — just write in the language you want.

• Write a prompt in Spanish, get a story in Spanish. Write in Japanese, get a story in Japanese. Write in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, or any language the AI supports.
• Illustrations work independently of text language — the AI internally translates scene descriptions to English for the image generator, so image quality is consistent regardless of what language your story is in.
• Voice input supports multiple languages too. Speak in your language and the transcription will capture it for the prompt.

Stories on Sprinkles aren't limited to a single installment. You can add new episodes to any of your stories, building ongoing adventures with the same characters and world.

• Narrative continuity — the AI reads all previous episodes before generating the next one. Characters remember what happened, relationships develop, and plot threads carry forward naturally.
• Visual consistency — the character style guide from the first episode carries through to all subsequent episodes, so characters look the same throughout the series.
• Episode navigation — multi-episode stories get their own landing page with a cover image and episode grid. Readers can jump to any episode or start from the beginning.
• Simple to add — at the end of any episode, tap "Add Episode," describe what happens next, and the AI continues the story.

Forking is what makes Sprinkles a community platform, not just a story tool. When you see a story you love, you can fork it — creating a new, independent story under your own account that branches off from the original.

• The AI reads the original story's context (characters, setting, plot) and uses your new prompt to take the adventure in a different direction.
• Your fork is completely independent — you can add your own episodes, and changes to your fork don't affect the original.
• The original story shows how many times it's been forked, and forked stories link back to their source.
• It's a form of collaborative storytelling: one person creates characters and a world, and anyone can explore what happens if the story goes differently.

The Sprinkles reader is designed to feel like flipping through a real picture book — especially on phones and tablets where kids are most likely to read.

• Swipe left to go forward, swipe right to go back. Tap the edges of the screen to navigate too.
• Each page fills the screen with a large illustration and readable text beneath it.
• Dot indicators show your position in the story.
• At the end of a story, you can navigate to the next episode, add a new episode, or fork the story.
• Every story has a shareable link — just copy and send it.

Every story on Sprinkles is part of a growing public library that anyone can browse and read without signing in.

• The home page shows the latest stories in an infinite-scroll grid with cover images and titles.
• Each story card shows the title, cover image, author, episode count, and view count.
• Stories can be unlisted from the public feed via your dashboard, but remain accessible by direct URL.
• No sign-in is required to read — the entire library is open.

Every creator on Sprinkles gets a public author profile and a private dashboard to manage their work.

• Author profile — a public page showing your display name, picture, bio, and all your publicly listed stories. Accessible at /author/your-handle.
• Dashboard — a private page where you can see all your stories (including unlisted ones), edit titles, toggle visibility, and manage your profile information.
• Custom handle — choose a unique handle for your profile URL, making it easy to share your author page with others.

Authentication on Sprinkles is intentionally simple. Sign in with your Google account — no passwords to remember, no separate registration form, no email verification steps.

• One click to sign in with Google.
• We only receive your name, email, and profile picture — the minimum needed to create your author profile.
• No sign-in is required to browse or read stories. Only story creation requires authentication.
• Sessions are maintained securely and you stay signed in across visits.

Sprinkles is designed so you never wait longer than necessary. The generation process is optimized for speed:

• The story text and first page illustration are generated together — you're redirected to your story as soon as page 1 is ready.
• Remaining illustrations are generated in the background while you start reading.
• The reader polls for updates and displays new illustrations as they become available — no manual refresh needed.
• If you're reading faster than the images generate, you'll see a loading state that resolves as soon as the image is ready.
