Episode 1: Milo the Mole and the Hidden Town

Deep underground, Mole Town was very busy. Moles hurried through tunnels, carrying berries, seeds, and shiny pebbles. Milo the Mole helped too, but he kept thinking about one special thing: potatoes!

Milo grabbed his little shovel and dug carefully toward the Potato Patch Tunnel. "I hope I find the biggest potatoes," he whispered. Suddenly his shovel tapped a new hollow space, and a cool breeze whooshed in.

Milo peeked through the opening and gasped. There was another underground city, with twinkling lanterns and busy mole shops! Milo remembered his brother Max, who had wandered away long ago and never came back.

Milo walked into the new town and asked kindly, "Have you seen a mole named Max?" A mole with a green scarf stepped forward. "Milo?" he said softly, and they hugged tight because it was Max!

Mayor Mabel nodded. “Milo and Max, lead a digging team to look for metal,” she said. Milo tightened his scarf, and Max held the map steady as they headed into a dry, rocky tunnel.

Soon, their shovels clinked on something hard and shiny. They uncovered a smooth, silvery sheet and a few metal pieces tucked in the ground. “This will help us build a stronger wall!” Milo said.

Back at the wall, other moles brought potatoes from the pantry tunnel. They squished the potatoes into a soft mash and pressed it into the damp cracks. “Sticky and snug,” Max smiled, “like mud glue!”

Max pointed at the map. “If we dig a new tunnel, the water can go a different way,” he suggested. The digging team hurried to a far corridor, where the ground was strong and dry.

Soon, the stream became the Dish-Washing Spot. Milo and Max scrubbed bowls while the water swished by like a friendly helper. Everyone took turns and used gentle splashes.

One day, Milo tiptoed close and said, “Maybe I could take a tiny bath.” He dipped a paw in—brrr!—and giggled. Then he noticed the water rippling in a strange, bumpy way.

The stream was so useful that the moles started calling it the Wash-Water River. They washed cups, plates, and even muddy boots beside it. Milo watched the water sparkle and thought, “It looks like a bath!”

Before anyone could stop him, one mole stepped into the stream for a quick bath. The water swirled around his paws, and he sighed happily. Then a shadow zipped under the surface—fast!

A piranha popped up with big teeth and a grumpy face. Another piranha splashed beside it. Soon a whole group of piranhas churned the water, acting very aggressive and snappy.

Max grabbed a long wooden dish-brush handle like a helper pole and gently pulled the bathing mole back to the dry stones. “No baths today,” Max said, steady and calm. Milo scooted behind Mayor Mabel’s vest, peeking out.

Mayor Mabel held up her map and spotted a side channel from their detour tunnel. “The piranhas are following the strongest flow,” she said. “If we give them their own route, they won’t need our washing spot.”

The moles quickly built a “Fish Only” gate with rocks, metal plates, and mashed potato seal in the cracks. They opened the new channel, and the water whooshed that way. The piranhas swam after it, splashing, then disappearing down the side tunnel.

Mayor Mabel squinted at the ceiling of the tunnel. "I know this work," she said with a frown. "This wasn't an accident. It was Farmer Fluffy from the surface!"

Farmer Fluffy was a grumpy gardener who didn't like molehills in his nice grass. To make the moles move, he had dug a deep hole right above their town. He wanted to wash them away!

He had dragged a heavy hose to the hole and turned the water on full blast. Tons of water had rushed down, filling the tunnels. "He poured a whole pond in here!" cried Milo.

Then Max found a clue stuck in the mud—a fish food wrapper. "He didn't just pour water," Max whispered. "He put the piranhas in the hole on purpose to scare us!"

The moles were not scared anymore; they were ready to protect their home. "If Farmer Fluffy thinks water will stop us, he doesn't know moles," said Mayor Mabel bravely. "We are excellent diggers, and we are smart."

The moles gathered scrap metal, old pipes, and a big bicycle wheel they had found in the dirt. Clang, bang, twist! They worked together to build the Super-Splasher Pump right at the bottom of the hole.

While the pump was being built, Milo and Max dug a tiny, secret tunnel straight up to the surface. They poked a small exit hole right next to where Farmer Fluffy’s big boots were standing. He didn’t notice a thing!

Suddenly, a rumble shook the ceiling. Farmer Fluffy had turned his hose on again! Water rushed down the main tunnel, but this time, it fell straight into the big funnel of the mole pump.

“Now!” shouted Max. The moles cranked the bicycle wheel handle as fast as they could. *Chug-chug-WHOOSH!* The pump grabbed the water and shot it up the secret tube with a giant splash.

Up on the surface, the water blasted out of the ground like a geyser! It sprayed Farmer Fluffy right in the face and soaked his clothes. He dropped his hose and ran away yelling, “It’s a water volcano!”

Down below, the moles cheered and hugged because their town was dry and safe. “We make a great team,” said Milo, wringing out his blue scarf. They had won the water battle… to be continued!

Episode 14: The Rescue Mission and the Giant Rock

After the water battle, Mayor Mabel called an emergency meeting. "We have received a message," she said gravely. "A cousin mole is trapped inside the City Zoo and cannot get out!"

Max shivered. "The Zoo is dangerous," he whispered. "If the Zookeepers see us, they will catch us with nets and put us all in cages, just like the other animals."

Milo looked at the crowd of moles from both towns. "But we have more power now!" he said bravely. "There are hundreds of us. If we all dig together, we can rescue him before anyone sees us."

The moles cheered and started the Big Rescue Dig. Dirt flew everywhere as hundreds of paws shoveled at the same time. They moved faster than ever before, zooming toward the city.

They dug for hours until the ground rumbled above them. "Shh!" said Mayor Mabel. "I hear lions walking." They were right under the Zoo, very close to the trapped cousin.

Suddenly, Milo’s shovel made a loud *CLANG!* He tried to dig again, but *CLANG!* Sparks flew. A gigantic, dark grey rock blocked the entire tunnel path.

The moles tried to dig left, right, up, and down, but the rock was too huge to move. They were stuck right outside the Zoo! "How will we get through?" wondered Milo... to be continued.
